Overview
We are seeking a Exam Invigilator to join our team at Everest Community Academy, part of Bourne Education Trust.
As an Exam Invigilator, you will provide essential support for the examination process, assisting the Examinations Officer with the day-to-day set-up and supervision of exam.

Position: Exam Invigilator
Start Date: 13th October 2025
Salary: Hampshire A1, £12.59 per hour plus 12.07% holiday entitlement
Key responsibilities
- To support the Exams Officer with the day to day set up and invigilation of exams
- Assisting with setting up examination venues by laying out stationery, equipment and examination papers in accordance with strict procedures
- Assisting candidates prior to the start of examinations by directing them to their seats and advising them about possessions permitted in examination venues
Requirements
- Ability to demonstrate an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of pupils
- Educated to GCSE Standard including Mathematics and English, or equivalent qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Relevant experience of working with children in an education setting
