Key responsibilities

  • Deliver curriculum relevant to age and ability, prepare materials, programmes, pastoral arrangements
  • Accountable for attainment, progress and outcomes of all pupils within class/es, plan to ensure pupils meet potential
  • Plan to meet needs of pupils with SEN, lead preparation, implementation, monitoring, review of SEN Support Arrangements

Requirements

  • Demonstrate awareness, understanding and commitment to protection and safeguarding of children
  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
  • Evidence effective continuous professional development
  • Experience in coordinating a subject
