Key responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Year in the day‑to‑day pastoral management of the year group
- Build positive relationships with students to support their well‑being, engagement and progress
- Support the implementation of the school’s behaviour policy, addressing issues proactively and consistently
- Provide early intervention for students experiencing social, emotional or behavioural difficulties
Requirements:
- Awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children
- Proven track record of continuous professional development
- Evidence of prioritising, planning and organising
- Experience working with young people in a learning environment
- Experience within technology, design and construction environment
- Specific experience and skills within a building trade
Successful applicants will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
