We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated, dedicated and organised individual to engage with students and parents to promote positive and productive relationships between home and school. In this important role you will work with our Pastoral team to raise student achievement by improving their attendance and punctuality. You will need to have strong communication skills and have the ability to work effectively in a busy environment. The ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining a sense of humour is vital. This is a term time only role and we are open to both full or part time working, however an 8am start will be required.

  • Contract: Term time, permanent
  • Start Date: September 2026
  • Salary: Actual salary £22,554 - £24,162 (FTE £27,634 - £29,604) based on 36 hours a week term time only

Key responsibilities include:

  • Daily monitoring of all aspects of attendance (including punctuality), ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Analysing data and producing attendance reports to relevant staff, including daily reports where necessary.
  • Liaising and intervening with parents, students and staff to improve student attendance.

Requirements include:

  • An awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children.
  • Experience working in an office environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
