We are seeking a Head of Year to join our team at Everest Community Academy, part of Bourne Education Trust.

- Contract: Full-time, permanent
- Condensed school year with two week half term in October

Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the achievement, progress and pastoral provision for a year group of students
- Have responsibility for the strategic overview of the year group, including self evaluation and the improvement plan for the year group
- Monitor student progress including attendance, achievement and behaviour
Requirements
- Ability to demonstrate an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
- Ability to evidence effective continuous professional development
