We are seeking an Education Director to join our team at Bourne Education Trust. To work closely within a team to lead the delivery of exceptional education across the Trust as part of the team of Education Directors working across our Infant, Junior and Primary provision.

Details:

  • Position: Education Director
  • Location: Based at Bourne Education Trust’s central office located in Jubilee High School, Addlestone however, frequent travel to schools across all regions will be required
  • Contract: Full time, Permanent

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with the CEO to deliver the strategic education vision of the Trust
  • Build a collaborative learning culture across the Trust
  • Work with school leaders to ensure that schools’ strategic intents complement that of the Trust
  • Plan, implement and monitor a cross-Trust theme and ensure that its outcomes are shared widely, translate into action and impact and/or inform policy

Requirements:

  • EDs will need to have a certain level of experience prior to taking on the role and a background in education and teaching
  • Primary Headship in one or more setting
  • An awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children
  • Experience marketing and promoting a school or group of schools
