The role is accountable for management, oversight, scientific leadership, and guidance of complex pre‐market/post‐market studies for scientific and regulatory engagement purposes, from design to dissemination of the results. The role also includes leadership in targeted data‐driven analysis as well as the development of consumer‐related sections for regulatory submissions. The role is further responsible for knowledge and insights sharing with relevant stakeholders, and the creation of scientific publications, conference contributions, and documentation to support scientific and external engagement.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Lead, manage, and have full responsibility for complex scientific and regulatory engagement related pre‐market/post‐market studies, including the design, execution, analysis, reporting, dissemination of results, and study documentation according to the study scope, budget, schedule. This is done applying recognized scientific standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Lead or supervise targeted analysis and modelling of perception and behaviour related data from different internal or public sources to enable data‐driven and evidence‐based insights for scientific, external, or regulatory work and engagement.
  • Present and disseminate study results verbally and in writing, including regulatory submissions.
  • Support external engagement with key stakeholders by participating in scientific conferences, leading the writing of peer reviewed publications/manuscripts and thought papers.
  • Manage a synergic relationship with the Data Insights & Analytic teams, to support and strengthen regulatory narratives with data from commercial consumer research.

Skills and Competencies

  • MSc (PhD is preferred) in one of the following: social science, behavioural science, statistics, epidemiology, public health or related fields. Academic experience is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in pre‐market/post‐market studies, for scientific, external and regulatory engagement, within pharmaceutical, consumer goods, other highly regulated product categories or clinical research organizations. Experience with regulatory submissions is an additional advantage.
  • A flexible approach to work, be able to be involved in several projects at once and to work under time pressure in a collaborative set‐up.
  • An inquisitive and proactive mindset, with the ability to connect data from different sources.
  • Strong statistical, analytical skills, including the use of statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS).
