We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in high quality workmanship and enjoys working on a wide range of fabrication and site based projects.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble metal components to specification
- Carry out TIG welding to a high standard
- Interpret engineering drawings and work with accuracy
- Operate workshop machinery and hand tools safely
- Assist with site installations, repairs, and maintenance works
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication
- Competence in TIG welding processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Skilled in the use of fabrication tools, machinery, and measuring equipment
- Good problem solving skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to work to deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Experience with stainless steel and aluminium fabrication
- Experience working to coded welding standards
- Full UK driving licence
- Knowledge of pipework fabrication or mechanical fitting
Location: Work mainly based in Co. Armagh and Co. Down.
Hours: 40 per week.
Contract Type: Permanent.
