Experienced CNC Setter / Operator / Programmer required to join our Milling section. Operating since 1980, Philip James Precision Engineers provides CNC machining and affiliated services to market leading companies from our fully equipped and modern manufacturing facility. Specialising in complex prototype and low volume high precision component production; we undertake all design, CAD/CAM, programming and machining work in-house to achieve best value for our customers, in terms of overall package, service and quality.

Required skills / experience:

  • Experience of using Hurco Winmax Controls, or willing to learn
  • Experience of using CAD/CAM software to create toolpaths - Autodesk Powermill & Fusion 360 or willing to learn
  • Set up and operate machines with a minimum of supervision
  • To work to correct tolerances and check own work during Production
  • Meeting production targets and assisting with the production of various parts when required

Basic hours - Monday to Thursday - 07:30 to 16:30 and Friday 07:30 to 12:30 with overtime available.
