The Role: £14.50/hr (guaranteed for 40 hrs/wk) + overtime. Alternate Saturdays (Apr-Oct): £21/hr. If more suitable during the summer period, its possible to work Tuesday to Saturday with alternate Mondays as an overtime day. The Company: Philip Dennis Foodservice is a well-established family business distributing Frozen, Chilled and Ambient goods, as well as Fresh Butchery and Fresh Fish products, to customers throughout Oxfordshire, the Midlands and the Southwest of England. HGV Delivery Driver: We\’re seeking a professional and customer-focused Class 2 HGV Driver on a full time, permanent basis to join our dedicated team in Ilfracombe, Devon. Taking responsibility for your vehicle and load at the depot, you\’ll follow an established route and accurately deliver orders to multiple customers across Devon and the surrounding areas. On return, you will prepare your vehicle for the next day and ensure all documentation is complete, notifying the relevant departments of any customer feedback, order issues or stock returns to help keep Company records up to date. The successful candidate: Must have a Class 2 HGV licence with no more than 6 penalty points. Must have a current/valid CPC card and be conversant with driving laws/regulations. Have strong communication skills. A proactive work ethic. Experience in a previous multi-drop background is desirable. The Rewards: £14.50/hr (guaranteed for 40 hrs/wk) + overtime. Alternate Saturdays (Apr-Oct): £21/hr.
