This role has a starting rate of £11.50 per hour. On successful completion of probation, you will receive an increase to £12 per hour and £50 in "love to Shop" vouchers.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Deliver guest service to the highest standard for internal and external guests within the hotel at any time.
- Ensure the company ethos is at the forefront of all work undertaken.
- Be responsible for your section of service and complete work to the highest standard expected.
- Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and are treated with hospitality and care during their stay to provide an unforgettable experience.
- Follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, meeting 5-star standards.
- Stay updated with current promotions and new products through training and briefings.
- Make guests aware of promotions on food and drinks.
- Assist in function or event setups according to procedures.
- Carry out work for functions or events as instructed by your line manager.
- Maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments in accordance with company policy.
- Observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food hygiene, and regulations.
- Ensure high standards of financial diligence and reporting.
- Present yourself professionally at all times while linked to Boringdon Hall.
- Maintain high hygiene standards in personal presentation and manner.
- Follow key legislation related to fire procedures, health and safety, COSHH, infection control, and emergency aid.
- Minimize and handle complaints professionally according to policies.
- Foster good working relationships with other departments and communicate effectively throughout the hotel.
