About the Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Reporting and Data Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in data visualisation and reporting, particularly using Power BI and Excel. You will be responsible for maintaining and expanding existing dashboards, supporting spreadsheet-based analysis, and fulfilling ad-hoc data and reporting requests from various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and usability.
- Develop new data visualisations in Power BI based on evolving business requirements.
- Provide Excel support and advanced spreadsheet solutions, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and macros.
- Assist in automating and streamlining reporting processes to improve data availability and decision-making efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting tools and datasets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues, discrepancies, or data anomalies.
- Document reporting processes and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience with Power BI for dashboard creation and dataset building.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIF, INDEX, etc.).
- Experience with other reporting tools or databases (e.g., SQL, Access, DAX, etc.) is a nice-to-have.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
