An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Physiotherapist to take charge of our Rangiora clinic and play a key role in growing its presence, occupancy, and reputation within the local community. This is a unique opportunity for a clinician with more than 5 years’ experience who is looking to step into a leadership-focused role with the autonomy to make a real impact.

Based in our modern, newly established clinic in Rangiora — a vibrant and fast-growing satellite town of Christchurch, you’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and Nursing professionals, with the support of the wider Habit Health network behind you. This role is ideal for a mature, motivated, and energetic Physiotherapist who is a true self-starter; someone who enjoys building relationships, attracting and retaining clientele, and creating a thriving clinic environment.

For the right person, this is an exciting opportunity to grow the clinic into a centre of excellence for the Rangiora community while continuing to develop your own career and leadership capability. This may also suit an experienced Physiotherapist looking to relocate to the booming Christchurch and wider Canterbury region and take ownership of a clinic they can truly make their own.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Deliver high-quality, hands-on MSK physiotherapy treatment
  • Lead the Rangiora clinic and help drive its ongoing growth and profile within the community
  • Build strong referral networks and contribute to business development opportunities
  • Mentor and support junior clinicians where appropriate
  • Develop and implement clinic and community-based rehabilitation programmes
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Produce clear, professional clinical reports and documentation
  • Utilise modern diary and practice management systems
  • Contribute to creating a positive, high-performing clinic culture

We are seeking a clinician with the confidence, maturity, and expertise to work autonomously while remaining highly collaborative and community-focused.

The Benefits of Working With Us:

  • Competitive salary aligned with senior experience
  • Monthly bonus scheme to boost your earnings
  • Annual professional development budget
  • APC and professional registration reimbursement (pro-rated for part-time hours)
  • Ongoing clinical mentorship and leadership development opportunities
  • Clear career progression pathways into leadership roles
  • Supportive team culture with regular social events and recognition programmes
  • Wellbeing initiatives, including annual eye exams, flu vaccinations, and EAP access
  • Innovative AI tools that automate clinical documentation and reduce admin time—allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care while maximising performance-based incentives.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • NZ Registered Physiotherapist with a current APC
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ MSK clinical experience (senior level preferred)
  • Confidence in clinical decision-making and caseload management
  • Interest in mentoring or supporting junior staff
  • Full NZ Driver’s Licence for community-based work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
