Our Timaru branch is looking for an experienced Psychologist who wants to grow their clinical skills in rehabilitation. This is an excellent opportunity to assist in patient care and well-being whilst being provided with the resources to succeed.

Main responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessments and recommendations backed by clinical reasoning
  • Complete written and verbal summaries of assessments
  • Be part of the development of training and resources for services delivered
  • Collaborate and learn grow with a multidisciplinary team (MDT)

The ideal candidate:

  • MA/PG Dip/DClin or similar qualification
  • Registration as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists’ Board / a current APC
  • Membership of a Professional Body like the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists or New Zealand Psychological Society
  • Approachability and people-centred disposition
  • Ability to travel is essential
