Own the complete marketing function for a scaling SaaS business making real impact in safeguarding and health. As Marketing Manager at Phew, you'll build campaigns that generate pipeline, create content that converts, and manage the systems that drive growth — with quarterly commission tied directly to the prospects and revenue you generate. Base salary £45k, OTE £54k+, with accelerators for high performers. This is hands-on, full-service marketing where your success funds future expansion and your earnings.
The Opportunity: This isn’t a "maintain the status quo" marketing role. We’re at an exciting inflection point: established products gaining traction, clear market fit in safeguarding and health sectors, and ready to scale. You’ll build the marketing engine that accelerates this growth — from strategy through execution, from first website visit through to sales-accepted MQL. You’ll own everything: campaign strategy, HubSpot automation, content creation, SEO, social media, lead nurture, performance analytics, and budget management. Working directly with the MD and collaborating closely with Sales and Product, you’ll have genuine autonomy to test, learn, and scale what works. The unique part? Your success directly determines your budget and your commission. Effective campaigns generate prospects that become MQLs and revenue — which generates more marketing investment and higher earnings for you. This is marketing where results compound.
What You’ll Do:
- Campaign Execution & Lead Generation: Execute webinars, email campaigns, and paid advertising; Build landing pages and nurture sequences that convert; Manage social media to drive engagement and reach.
- Campaign Strategy & Pipeline Development: Plan quarterly campaigns and coordinate product launches; Design qualification sequences and manage lead scoring; Create demo-booking campaigns and support sales with tender content.
- HubSpot & Marketing Operations: Build and optimise workflows, automation, and email sequences; Maintain CRM data quality and sales handover processes; Manage segmentation and lead routing.
- Content Creation & Brand: Write blogs, case studies, and newsletters; Edit webinar recordings and conduct client interviews; Manage website content, SEO, and brand consistency; Coordinate award submissions and product communications.
- Performance & Budget Management: Build dashboards and track campaign ROI; Manage marketing budget and report on attribution; Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
Who We’re Looking For: We need someone who thrives on autonomy, loves working across the entire marketing mix, and wants their efforts directly tied to business results. You should be:
- Campaign-driven: You’ve run successful B2B marketing campaigns and can prove it with numbers.
- Data-focused: You make decisions based on metrics, not gut feel.
- Hands-on: You can write a landing page, build a workflow, and analyse the results — all in one day.
- Self-starting: You don’t wait for permission, you test and learn.
- Collaborative: You work brilliantly with Sales and Product teams.
- Results-oriented: You want commission tied to your performance.
Requirements: 3+ years’ B2B SaaS marketing experience with proven track record; HubSpot experience (campaign management, workflows, automation); Demonstrable campaign execution and lead generation success; Content creation skills (writing, editing, basic design sense); Strong analytical skills and comfort with marketing metrics; Ability to work hybrid (4 days/week in Thurleigh office); Full UK driving licence.
Desirable: Public sector or safeguarding/health sector experience; Experience with long sales cycles (3-9 months); WordPress and basic SEO knowledge.
Benefits: We believe in rewarding people who bring their energy, embrace our pace of growth, and help make everyone around them better. If you’re ready to make an impact, we’re ready to make it worth your while.
- Salary & Rewards: £45,000 base salary + performance commission; Uncapped OTE £54,640 (commission paid quarterly); Commission tied to prospects accepted as MQLs and marketing-generated closed deals; Accelerators for overperformance; Annual salary reviews.
- Core Benefits: Hybrid working (4 days/week in Thurleigh office); Professional development and coaching; 24 days holiday + bank holidays; Life assurance (4x salary after probation); Company pension; Regular eye tests and company performance updates.
- Optional Benefits (Salary Sacrifice): Health insurance; Electric car scheme; Cycle to work scheme; Additional pension contributions.
- Future Benefits: Share equity scheme.
