Position Summary
Phenom Cloud is seeking an experienced and technically accomplished Senior Technical Implementation Consultant to join our People Solutions practice. In this senior role, you will lead global enterprise clients through the full implementation, integration, and optimisation lifecycle of their Learning (LMS), Talent, Performance, Succession, and Compensation technologies. You will design analytics solutions, build sophisticated dashboards, and act as a trusted technical adviser recommending complementary tools that elevate the client's overall HR technology landscape. This is a high-impact, client-facing role for a technically strong consultant who thrives on solving complex integration and data challenges, can influence senior stakeholders, and is passionate about using technology to transform how organisations manage and develop their people. At senior level, you will also bring leadership and mentoring capability to the wider delivery team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead collaboration with implementation teams and client stakeholders to define goals, measurable outcomes, and a clear technology roadmap, bringing senior-level insight and challenge to shape client strategy.
- Document business processes and technical architectures, identify functional and integration gaps, and design comprehensive technical solutions that drive operational efficiency and platform value.
- Configure, customise, and enhance system functionality to ensure seamless deployment, successful go-live, and continuous optimisation of client applications at scale.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and accessibly across diverse audiences, from end users to C-suite sponsors.
- Lead workshops, training sessions, and technical walkthroughs to drive adoption and confidence.
- Gather, interpret, and document detailed technical requirements, identifying opportunities to improve data integrity, analytics, reporting, and overall system performance.
- Design and build advanced analytics solutions, dashboards, and reporting frameworks aligned to client KPIs and business outcomes.
- Lead or coordinate system testing to validate platform functionality, data accuracy, and end-to-end integrations prior to deployment, ensuring defect resolution and go-live readiness.
- Partner closely with onshore and offshore project managers and technical teams to define, clarify, and validate operational and functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Own technical risk identification and mitigation, escalating to the Project Manager or Programme Board where appropriate.
- Develop and execute change management strategies for new system rollouts, supporting clients in embedding technology change sustainably.
- Mentor and coach junior technical consultants within the practice, sharing expertise and raising overall delivery quality.
- Contribute to internal knowledge management, delivery toolkits, and practice development initiatives.
Skills & Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience implementing, integrating, or supporting enterprise Learning (LMS), Talent, Performance, Succession, or Compensation systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience with a strong track record will be considered.
- Deep proficiency with APIs, SSO technologies, enterprise data flows, reporting frameworks, analytics, and dashboard development.
- Hands-on experience with Cornerstone OnDemand, Workday, UKG, or comparable enterprise HCM/LMS platforms in implementation or consulting roles.
- Strong technical and stakeholder management skills, including expectation setting, negotiation, and senior-level issue resolution.
- Proven ability to deliver timely, high-quality system implementations in complex, multi-workstream environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong capability for data interpretation and solution design.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with a high degree of independence.
- Prior experience in consulting, professional services, or enterprise technology delivery environments.
- Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership; able to work independently while leading effectively in team settings.
- Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills, including engagement with technical and non-technical senior stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel for client workshops, discovery sessions, and project engagements as required (approximately 25–30%).
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
Highly Desirable:
- Cornerstone OnDemand certifications (Learning, Talent, Performance, Succession, Recruiting, LXP, or Compensation).
- Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or UKG certification.
- Experience with Cornerstone Galaxy or Evolve migration programmes.
- Familiarity with AI-powered HR tooling, agentic workflows, or modern migration accelerator technologies.
- Experience working in high-growth, global professional services or technology organisations.
