Position Summary
Phenom Cloud is seeking a highly motivated and client-focused Senior Business Implementation Consultant with deep experience in Learning, Talent, Performance and Succession implementations to join our growing People Solutions practice. In this senior role, you will lead our enterprise clients through the full lifecycle of implementing, managing, and optimising their Talent Management systems. As a trusted adviser, you will research, recommend, and integrate complementary technologies into the client's HR landscape, driving strategic value and operational excellence. This role demands deep functional expertise, strong client leadership, and the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable, best-practice configurations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, project managers, architects, and client stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions that advance workforce development, employee experience, and organisational performance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions with business and HR stakeholders to understand goals, processes, and success criteria, bringing senior-level insight to challenge and shape client thinking.
- Document functional requirements across Learning, Talent, Performance, Succession, Compensation and Recruiting, and related workflows.
- Configure Cornerstone to support course structures, curricula, skills, goals, competencies, workflows, performance cycles, talent reviews, job requisition flows, and candidate lifecycle processes.
- Advise clients on industry best practices and solution approaches aligned with platform capabilities, acting as a subject matter expert throughout the engagement.
- Design scalable configurations for Learning (LMS), Performance Management, Succession/Talent modules, and Recruiting workflows.
- Lead functional workstreams during implementation, ensuring alignment between client requirements and system capabilities.
- Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, data migration requirements, and system validation.
- Conduct functional testing, prepare UAT test cases, and guide clients through defect resolution and go-live readiness.
- Deliver end-user training, admin training, and functional walkthroughs to drive client adoption and confidence.
- Prepare solution design documents, configuration guides, and operational playbooks to a high professional standard.
- Lead and support change management efforts to help clients embed new processes and system capabilities sustainably.
- Provide strategic recommendations for continuous improvement, platform enhancements, and adoption strategies.
- Mentor and support more junior consultants within the practice, sharing domain knowledge and delivery best practices.
- Assist in troubleshooting complex functional issues and advising clients on best practices for ongoing platform use.
Skills & Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience implementing or supporting Learning, Talent, Performance, Succession, Compensation, or Recruiting systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Solid understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle, learning and development, performance cycles, competencies, succession planning, and recruiting workflows.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into functional solutions and clear, client-ready documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
- Extensive experience conducting workshops, training sessions, and leading discussions with business and technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience configuring and implementing Cornerstone OnDemand (Learning, Performance, Succession, Recruiting) in implementation or consulting roles.
- Experience designing and delivering reports and dashboards based on customer requirements.
- Prior consulting or professional services experience in an enterprise HR Technology environment.
- Understanding of HR data models, reporting structures, and analytics.
- Familiarity with integration concepts (APIs, SSO, user provisioning).
- Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills, including C-suite engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously with a high degree of independence.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for process excellence.
- Highly organised, proactive, and self-driven.
- Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced, global environments.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
Highly Desirable:
- Cornerstone certifications in Recruiting, Learning, LXP, Talent, Guide, Succession, and/or Compensation.
- Certification in additional relevant HR Technology platforms (e.g. Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, UKG).
- Experience with Cornerstone Galaxy or Evolve migration programmes.
- Familiarity with AI-powered HR tooling and modern talent intelligence platforms.
