- Managing environmental sampling programmes, including soil, groundwater, surface water and ground gas investigations, while ensuring compliance with industry best practice and chain of custody procedures.
- Reviewing laboratory schedules, interpreting analytical data and ensuring outputs meet project objectives and relevant technical standards.
- Producing and technically reviewing factual and interpretative geo-environmental reports, ensuring they are accurate, proportionate and suitable for client and regulatory submission.
- Applying current environmental legislation, Land Contamination Risk Management (LCRM) guidance, British Standards and other relevant technical guidance to deliver practical, risk-based solutions.
- Managing project programmes, budgets and commercial performance, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, regulators, subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams, building strong working relationships and providing trusted technical advice.
- Mentoring and supporting Graduate and Geo-Environmental Engineers through site supervision, technical review, coaching and day-to-day guidance to aid their professional development.
- Reviewing and approving technical work completed by junior team members, maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency across all project deliverables.
- Promoting a positive SHEQ culture by ensuring compliance with company procedures, risk assessments, RAMS and relevant health, safety and environmental legislation.
- Supporting business development activities through proposal preparation, fee estimates, client meetings and identifying opportunities for repeat and new business.
