As a Quality Manager, you will lead the strategic development, coordination, and oversight of all quality assurance and quality derived accreditation initiatives within our organisation. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence, compliance with industry standards, and the delivery of exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 17025 and UKAS standards.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of quality procedures, ensuring timely updates and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Coach compliant laboratory operations, to ensure as far as reasonably practicable, tests, calibrations, and record-keeping align with ISO 17025 standards.
- Drive continuous improvement by monitoring and enhancing company-wide quality standards and client service excellence.
- Communicate local training requirements to ensure workforce competency and compliance with quality protocols.
- Manage equipment traceability processes, ensuring accurate calibration status, timely removal of non-compliant equipment and authorisation of calibration reports.
- Plan and execute laboratory and site test/system audits to maintain operational integrity.
- Review and update technical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including the Managing Director, General Managers, Group Quality Manager, Region Quality Managers, Laboratory Managers, and technical/administrative staff, to promote a culture of quality.

Knowledge and Experience
- A high level of experience in a laboratory environment, with proven experience managing ISO 17025-accredited laboratories.
- Good understanding of ISO 17025 requirements and UKAS compliance standards.
