Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to join our team in a mobile role covering London and the surrounding counties.
The role
This is a field‑based role for an experienced water hygiene professional who is confident working on client sites and wants to continue developing their skills. You will carry out a range of water hygiene and compliance tasks, helping clients meet HTM04‑01, HSG274 and other relevant standards.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out routine water hygiene monitoring, including temperature checks and compliance tasks in line with HTM04‑01 and HSG274.
- Clean and descale showers and other water outlets.
- Collect water samples for laboratory analysis.
- Perform closed system dosing works as required.
- Maintain and service TMVs (Thermostatic Mixing Valves).
- Inspect water tanks and carry out disinfection and chlorination works.
- Analyse chlorine dioxide levels in water systems.
- Complete all paperwork and electronic reports accurately and on time.
- Communicate professionally with clients on site and represent Evolution Water Services to a high standard.
About you
- At least 2 years’ experience in water hygiene or water treatment, carrying out similar tasks.
- Good communication skills, with a positive, professional manner on client sites.
- Keen to learn, develop your technical skills and progress your career.
- Comfortable working independently in a mobile role.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Based within a commutable distance of London and happy to travel across London and surrounding counties.
