Role Overview

The Operations Support Lead plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day efficiency of the business by providing operational and administrative support, while overseeing the bookings team on a daily basis. The position does not carry full management responsibility but provides guidance, support, and structure to the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Oversight
    • Act as the primary point of contact for the bookings team for day-to-day queries
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure consistency in working practices
    • Assist with prioritisation of workloads where required
    • Promote adherence to company processes and standards
  • Operational Support
    • Provide direct administrative and operational support to senior management
    • Assist with the coordination of operational activities across the business
    • Prepare, organise, and manage operational data, reports, and documentation
    • Monitor workflows and ensure tasks are completed efficiently
  • Coordination & Communication
    • Support communication between bookings, engineering, and administrative functions
    • Ensure information is accurately shared between teams
    • Follow up on outstanding actions and maintain progress on operational tasks
  • Process & Compliance Support
    • Support the implementation and consistent use of internal processes
    • Identify areas for improvement within day-to-day operations
    • Assist in maintaining accuracy and compliance across operational activities
  • Problem Resolution
    • Handle day-to-day operational queries and issues
    • Resolve routine problems independently where possible
    • Escalate more complex issues appropriately
