We have an exciting opportunity for an Estimator to join our growing team in Leicester. Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will play a key role in providing high-quality quotations to our customers and supporting the continued growth of the business. This position is ideal for someone proactive, organised, and customer-focused who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing accurate and timely quotes for customers, ensuring all required information is provided.
- Monitoring and responding to enquiries from the shared estimating mailbox.
- Pricing work effectively to help win new business at targeted profit margins.
- Ensuring work meets legal, statutory, and customer requirements without compromising standards.
- Updating pricing and customer rates within internal systems (CTSi & CRM).
- Collaborating with subcontractors to secure up-to-date agreed rates.
- Tracking and recording key commercial metrics such as win rates and reasons for declined quotes.
- Maintaining complete confidentiality of customer information.
What we’re looking for:
- Attention to detail and ability to work proactively as part of a team.
- Motivated, diligent and customer-focused.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the construction industry.
- Background in materials testing.
