About the Role

Construction Testing Solutions (CTS) is seeking a dedicated Quality Technician (North) to join our innovative team and ensure excellence in our laboratory operations across the North region. What You’ll Do

As a Quality Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality equipment calibrations, producing accurate calibration data, and maintaining our BS EN ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and UKAS compliance. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Performing equipment calibrations at our Northern laboratories, following documented procedures and UKAS standards.
  • Travelling across our Northern lab network to support calibration schedules (overnight stays required).
  • Maintaining up-to-date calibration records and documentation.
  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment.
  • Supporting the Quality Manager North and wider quality team to meet customer and operational expectations.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and accountable.
  • Organised, reliable, and able to manage their own workload.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Access, and Word).
  • Experience in a technical, laboratory, or quality-focused environment (desirable but not essential).
