We\’re working on behalf of a leading global events organisation to recruit a talented Account Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-impact B2B event that brings together top brands, buyers, and innovators in the garden retail sector.
This fixed-term role will focus on one of the company\’s flagship UK-based events, managing key accounts and driving commercial growth through stand and sponsorship sales across various categories including retail services, home & gift, pet products, and fashion.
You\’ll be responsible for building strong client relationships, identifying new commercial opportunities, and working closely with internal teams to deliver successful and engaging experiences for exhibitors and sponsors.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow key account relationships, including new business and lapsed clients.
Sell tailored stand and sponsorship packages, meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Work collaboratively with internal teams (marketing, content, ops, finance) to ensure seamless delivery.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, aligning event solutions with business objectives.
Manage projects and time lines efficiently, ensuring high-quality execution from pitch through to post-event evaluation.
What We\’re Looking For
Proven experience in B2B event sales, account management, or sponsorship.
Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
Confidence engaging with senior decision-makers.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
