We are looking for a Media Planning Director to join us at PHD in Manchester to support award-winning work across our FMCG portfolio of clients. Planning is a huge part of PHD’s DNA, and the successful applicant will lead media planning work for some of the UK’s leading challenger brands. You’ll work alongside an experienced and supportive multidisciplinary team with the remit to drive best‑in‑class media planning, challenge the status quo, and deliver innovative media plans that deliver competitive advantage to our clients.

This role is ideal for a media planner with strong craft skills who leads by example, is not satisfied with average performance, and is ready to push the art of the possible in the media space. You should have an innate curiosity, willingness to share ideas, thoughts, and insights, and demonstrate a genuine passion for media planning and the brands you work on. Responsibilities

  • Lead media planning for UK challenger brands within the FMCG space
  • Drive best‑in‑class media planning and deliver innovative media plans

Qualifications

  • Strong media planning craft skills and experience
  • Experience leading media planning for FMCG or similar sector
