We are looking to expand our team with the hiring of a Planning Manager. Planning is a huge part of PHD's DNA, so come and learn from some of the best minds in media. You'll be working on 3 amazing brands in different categories: The Guardian (PHD UK's founding client), KP Snacks (including brands such as Hula Hoops, Pop Chips and McCoys), and a global client, HSBC, with a focus on the acquisition side of the business and integration into broader campaigns. This is a chance to flex your knowledge across verticals and benefit from cross-learning and growth.

As Planning Manager, you'll also play a key role in coaching junior team members, contributing to cross-agency integration, and maintaining high standards in everything you deliver. You'll bring strategic media planning expertise, a strong understanding of client business needs, and a commercial mindset to ensure campaigns are both effective and profitable. At PHD, you'll have the freedom to challenge the norm, contribute to award-winning work, and grow your career in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

This role is perfect for someone ready to lead and drive positive change in media. You'll be a natural relationship builder, confident managing day-to-day client communications, and passionate about delivering high-quality work. You'll work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure campaigns run smoothly, expectations are met, and insights are shared. Your curiosity and proactive mindset will help shape strategic thinking and foster collaboration across departments.

PHD is a growth-focused media agency driven by innovation and creativity. Founded in London in 1990, we were the first media agency to offer strategic and creative planning at a time when the industry was about buying cheaply and quickly. Our founders saw a bright future where smart thinking and clever planning could help brands grow faster than their competitors. Over the years we have continued to build on this ethic with an evolution shaped by continual investment in thought leadership. We continue to ensure that our capability and approach evolve in line with changes in media, data, technology, commerce, society, and legislation. Today, with over 100 offices in 74 countries, we continue to create remarkable campaigns that lead to remarkable growth – using the extending canvas of data and technology.

At Omnicom Media Group, we are committed to supporting flexibility for our people while fostering collaboration, innovation, and teamwork. We have a hybrid working model (three days in the office, two working remotely) to balance the needs of both our people and our business. Working hours are 9:30–17:30, with core hours of 10:30–16:30 to give flexibility in how you manage your day, whether in the office or remote. For example, you could start at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.

We encourage open conversations between our people and managers to navigate high-need periods and individual circumstances. Our goal is to create an environment where people feel genuinely supported to do their best — both in their careers and in their lives outside of work.

We want everyone to make the most of the opportunity to shine and we are happy to make adjustments in the recruitment process so you can be your best. Please discuss any specific requirements with your dedicated Talent Team member or email confidentially at beyourbest@omnicommediagroup.com to let us know how we can support you.

At OMG, our vision is to be an agency where difference is valued and everyone is able to thrive in a culture of equality, inclusion and belonging.
