Do you spend a lot of time on TikTok, Instagram and social media — but actually understand what makes content work? We’re looking for a sharp, creative and organised Junior Social Media & Community Assistant to help manage the day-to-day running of multiple growing brands online. This is not a remote role. You’ll be working directly from our office alongside the team, helping keep our social media active, engaging and consistent every single day. You do not need years of experience. We care more about attitude, creativity, consistency and understanding how brands communicate online.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Uploading and scheduling content across multiple platforms
- Writing captions that feel natural and engaging
- Replying to comments and interacting with followers
- Monitoring DMs and flagging important messages
- Spotting trends, sounds and content ideas early
- Repurposing content for different platforms
- Helping keep social media pages active and consistent
- Tracking basic performance metrics
- Assisting with content planning and weekly trackers
- Working closely with the internal team on campaigns, launches and offers
Platforms include: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts and Google Business Profiles.

- Based within travelling distance of Leicester / East Midlands
- Comfortable working from the office
- Very active on social media
- Confident using TikTok, Instagram and Facebook
- A strong writer with good spelling and grammar
- Naturally aware of trends, memes and online culture
- Organised, reliable and consistent
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Interested in marketing, branding, content or social media
- Willing to learn and grow with the business
