Are you a detail-oriented and quality-focused Senior Garment Technologist looking for your next step? Join our collaborative team, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the exceptional fit and quality of our event wear product.
As the Senior Garment Technologist, you'll be an integral partner to our Design and Buying departments, working hand-in-hand from the initial sample stage through to final delivery. You'll be instrumental in upholding the technical integrity of our event wear garments, ensuring they meet our high standards of fit, quality, and performance.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate closely with Design and Buying: You'll work together to understand the creative vision for each season and optimise our size ranges to maximise sales potential.
- Lead Fit Sessions: You'll be at the forefront of our fit process, attending sessions to evaluate samples, providing clear and constructive feedback on fit, and promptly communicating specifications to our suppliers.
- Manage the Sealing Process: You'll oversee the critical sealing process, championing a "right first time" approach to ensure the timely and accurate submission of samples.
- Partner with the Senior Technical Manager: You'll collaborate to proactively address any challenges or delays, ensuring samples are prioritised according to our critical path.
- Analyse Fabric Test Reports: You'll review and approve bulk size specifications based on the insights gained from fabric testing.
- Ensure Consistent Fit: You'll be responsible for maintaining a consistent and excellent fit across our Phase Eight event wear collection across wedding, bridesmaid, wedding guest and occasion.
Who you'll be:
As the Senior Garment Technologist in the event wear department, you'll be someone who brings a strong understanding of garment construction within the event wear space, pattern cutting, grading, and testing to a diverse range of event apparel. Your technical expertise will be crucial to your success, and you'll be known for your sharp attention to detail. You'll also be a confident communicator, effectively building and managing relationships with our Design and Buying teams, as well as our suppliers.
