We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Intern Support Specialist to assist with day-to-day IT operations in a fast-paced, global environment. This role will support equipment inventory management, employee onboarding/offboarding, device shipping, patching, and general end-user assistance. The ideal candidate is ambitious, quick to learn, technically inclined, and eager to grow in an IT career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update equipment inventory records.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving of laptops and peripherals for remote/hybrid employees.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes (equipment setup, Docusign tracking, access management).
  • Perform basic hardware maintenance (open laptops, replace batteries, memory, SSDs, etc.).
  • Apply Windows updates and security patches.
  • Respond to and resolve assigned IT support tickets promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with managers, team members, and end users.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of equipment assignments and service history.
  • Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to assist wherever needed.

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Familiarity with Windows OS and hardware basics.
  • Experience with inventory management or asset tracking tools (preferred but not required).
  • Basic understanding of patching and system updates.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
