Reporting into the South West Service Manager, the Generator Technician will provide maintenance, installation, diagnosis, repair and testing services across a range of diesel generator sets, switchgear, control systems and associated equipment. Our support is carried out at client’s premises or Pharos sites.
Key tasks include:
- Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance
- Carrying out diagnostic, testing and remedial works on generators and associated equipment
- Providing call-out cover for generator breakdowns on a rota system
- Carrying out client site visits
- Projecting spares requirements for upcoming and planned works
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in Generator Engineering of at least 5 years
- Mechanical diagnostic experience
- Qualified Mechanical Engineer or similar
- Skilled in technical report writing with acute attention to detail
