About the Company
Our client is a leading national business advisory firm, with a large partner group and offices across the UK. Its Real Estate Finance team is an award-winning broker team, advising on debt and equity across commercial, development and residential investment transactions, for clients, introducers and lender partners, and is growing.
About the Role
As Senior Broker, you will structure debt and equity solutions across senior debt, stretched senior, mezzanine and equity, servicing clients' real estate financing needs and supporting key partners and introducers.
You will mentor and manage brokers within the team and work closely with the Director, Real Estate Finance, on the growth and strategy of the business. The role suits a broker, lender or private banker with strong market knowledge and financial modelling skills, who can earn the trust of clients, lenders and colleagues, and bring structure to a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure debt and equity for commercial, development and residential investment transactions
- Support key partners and introducers by servicing their clients' financing needs
- Build and maintain key partner and introducer relationships
- Maintain deep knowledge of markets, competitors and the wider financial industry
- Meet targets and create new business opportunities
- Mentor and manage brokers within the team
- Report to the Director, Real Estate Finance, on all relevant matters, and contribute to weekly team meetings and monthly reviews
- Ensure compliance with FCA standards, including CPD
- Build market knowledge to progress within the firm
- Uphold the firm's core values

Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in commercial and development finance, as a broker, lender or private banker
- Good understanding of the real estate finance market, including senior debt, mezzanine, bridge and equity finance
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, able to work under pressure and to timelines
- Educated to degree standard, or with equivalent professional qualifications; experience bringing structure to a team is an advantage
