b Overview /b p In this role you will build and maintain the infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and monitoring that power Pharo’s trading, research, and operations systems. You will work closely with developers and infrastructure staff, taking ownership to make environments reliable and repeatable. The role blends on‑premise and cloud work, with exposure to scale and high-availability requirements. You’ll influence software delivery practices and incident response, contributing to the firm’s mission of robust, efficient technology support for a global macro hedge fund. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for internal applications to enable faster, safer releases /li li Support day-to-day requests from development teams and help debug build, deployment and environment issues /li li Extend and operate cloud and on‑premise infrastructure; provision environments via infrastructure‑as‑code /li li Operate monitoring, alerting, and logging to detect issues early and participate in incident investigations /li li Write scripts and small tools to automate repetitive operational tasks /li li Contribute to improving software delivery practices across the technology team /li li Participate in an on-call rotation providing out-of-hours support for critical services /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li 3+ years in a DevOps, platform, infrastructure, or software engineering role /li li Experience with Git and standard branching and code review workflows /li li Experience with CI/CD tooling, particularly GitHub Actions /li li Exposure to containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) /li li Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform) /li li Experience with major cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) /li li Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, load balancing, firewalls) /li li Clear written and verbal communication /li li Scripting ability in Python, PowerShell, or Bash /li li Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience /li /ul ul li Clear written and verbal communication /li li Problem solving and curiosity /li li Collaborative and methodical approach /li li Git and branching workflows /li li CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions) /li li Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) /li /ul
