We are seeking a dedicated NMC registered nurse in the Torbay area to join our healthcare team. The Clinical Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care and administering a range of medications.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient observations and ensure that any patient is fit to proceed with their treatment
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team
- Provide compassionate support to the patient and family
- Educate patients and their families to promote understanding and independence
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams ensuring that patient safety is paramount
Qualifications
- Current NMC registration
- Experience administering SC, IM or IV medications
- SACT experience
- Valid UK driving license
- Willingness to work autonomously
- Attention to detail, excellent cannulation/phlebotomy skills, experience in standard and complex infusion therapies; chemotherapy experience would be advantageous
- Kind, compassionate and caring with a desire to provide excellent patient experience and safe and effective care

- Salary £35,000 to £38,000 full time equivalent (depending on experience)
