Play a vital role in delivering life-changing medicines. At Pharmaxo Compounding, we produce more than 2,000 sterile pharmaceutical products every day. These treatments go directly to people living with cancer and/or managing chronic conditions. As a Pharmaceutical Production Operator (PPO), you’re part of the team that makes this possible, ensuring patients receive the medication they rely on, safely and on time.

Behind every product is a patient waiting for treatment. That’s why we take pride in getting every detail right. Our PPOs are diligent, precise and committed to the highest standards of quality. They’re the people behind the precision. Through their skill, focus and attention to detail, they help maintain the quality consistency and reliability our patients and partners depend on.

In this role, you will be responsible for tasks such as:

  • Labelling and packaging finished medicines
  • Supporting stock control and component management
  • Inspecting finished products

You don’t need previous experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, just a willingness to learn, an eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

A place to grow your skills and your career. From day one, we’ll provide the training, support and development opportunities you need to succeed, including study days and courses that help you build confidence and capability.

As you grow, you'll have opportunities to progress into roles such as:

  • Working inside our manufacturing clean rooms. A Manufacturer 1 will be manufacturing batches of cytotoxic and intravenous additive products, through a semi-automated process involving a peristaltic pump.
  • Working inside our manufacturing clean rooms. A Manufacturer 2 will be manufacturing batches of cytotoxic and intravenous additive products, through both a semi-automated process involving a peristaltic pump and a fully manual process.
  • Working inside our manufacturing clean rooms. The management structure offers a clear pathway of progression, with roles including Area Leads, Shift Leads and Operations Managers, each contributing to the delivery of exceptional operational performance and customer experience.
