Your role
We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team. You will bring relevant experience and a flexible approach. You demonstrate patience, empathy and excellent communication skills. A real team player, you have the diligence, IT literacy and a passion for development and training to make a difference to our patients.
As An Experienced Healthcare Assistant, You Will:
- Have previous experience of working in an out-patient or day care setting.
- Be able to work flexibly Monday-Friday to cover services in the Chemotherapy Day Unit and the Phlebotomy and Outpatients Clinics.
- Support Care Delivery, treating patients and their families with kindness, dignity, respect and compassion and support them to cope emotionally with their care, treatment or condition.
- Champion safety; promoting good practice in infection prevention and ensuring a clear and safe environment for our patients.
- Deliver quality patient care and observation, in accordance with clinical protocols, contributing towards multidisciplinary team working.

Benefits
- Annual Salary: £24,749 per annum
- Annual leave of 25 days + bank holidays (increasing to 27 days after 3 years' service)
- Pension: You will be auto-enrolled from day 1 at 5% (with an employer contribution of 4%). You can also opt to increase your contribution to 6% to which the employer will also contribute 6%.
- Private Medical Insurance (after successful completion of probationary period)
- Life Assurance 3 x Annual Salary
