Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Dispensary Pharmacist. In this role you will be responsible for safe and efficient dispensing of medications, ensuring compliance with all legal, ethical, and professional standards, supporting patient care, working with healthcare professionals and providing expert advice on medicines.
Main duties
- Responsible Pharmacist on rota for the registered premises.
- Accuracy and clinical checking of prescriptions for wide specialist areas of interest including oncology, immunotherapy, and rare disease states.
- Coordinating and planning the dispensary activity and supporting the wider team.
- Procurement and management of supplies of compounded and specialist medications with support.
- Supporting the patient services team in giving advice to patients, triaging clinical decisions and following clinical pathways with further support from a wider team of pharmacists and nurse specialists.
- Key stakeholder in allowing patients access to novel treatments via clinical trials, early access schemes, post‑trial access schemes, etc.

- Annual salary: up to £53,500 (depending on experience)
- Annual leave of 25 days + bank holidays (increasing to 27 days after 3 years’ service)
- Pension – auto‑enrolled after 3 months of employment at 5% (employer contribution 4%). Option to increase contribution to 6%, with employer contributing 8%.
