We are looking for an experienced chemist to fill the Senior Scientist role at Pharmaron. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and experience working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and scale-up of chemical processes for API drug development, applying their expertise in core laboratory techniques, designing and executing complex experiments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive scientific innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solve problems of moderate complexity for assigned projects and/or initiatives with moderate guidance from a scientific supervisor/Line Manager.
- Demonstrate competency in core chemistry laboratory skills required to support development and/or scale-up of chemical processes.
- Execute experiments, interpret results, and plan additional experiments in a timely manner to solve assigned problems of moderate complexity.
- Effectively communicate, coordinate, and collaborate with cross-functional project groups to ensure that scientific work is appropriately documented.
- Document and report results of all experiments in a manner consistent with department practices and governing procedures.
Requirements:
- MSc in chemistry or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years prior academic or industrial laboratory experience, including demonstration of core process/physical skill sets.
- Evidence of ability to effectively contribute to multi-disciplinary scientific teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work strictly in accordance with company policies and procedures.
