About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Head of Americas, CEE & CIS, the Commercial Manager will lead the commercial strategy and execution across the Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) regions.

This is a highly visible commercial leadership role responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, maximising profitability, expanding market access, strengthening strategic partnerships and ensuring successful execution of regional commercial plans.

Working closely with distributors, licensing partners, and internal cross-functional teams, the Commercial Manager will identify new business opportunities, launch newly acquired products, optimise existing product performance, and ensure all activities are delivered in line with Pharmanovia's values, compliance standards, and long-term growth strategy.

The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with strategic thinking, exceptional relationship management skills and a proven ability to influence multiple stakeholders across international markets.

Responsibilities

  • Drive commercial performance across the CEE & CIS region, delivering revenue, profitability and market share objectives.
  • Develop and execute regional commercial strategies that support Pharmanovia's long-term growth plans.
  • Successfully launch newly licensed and acquired pharmaceutical products across multiple international markets.
  • Build, manage and optimise strategic distributor and commercial partner relationships.
  • Identify new licensing, portfolio expansion and organic growth opportunities.
  • Manage forecasting, budgeting, business planning and commercial reporting across the region.
  • Lead negotiations with distributors, customers and key external stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and healthcare policy changes to identify commercial opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Medical, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing and Technical Operations.
  • Ensure full compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, corporate governance and ethical commercial practices.

Qualifications

  • Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences or a related discipline.
  • Additional regional language(s) relevant to CEE & CIS markets would be advantageous.
  • Pharmaceutical or healthcare business qualification.
