Senior Social Worker Family Help (Permanent)
Pro Social Partners are working in partnership with Sandwell Children's Trust to recruit experienced Senior Social Workers into their Family Help teams.
The Role
- Hold a caseload of more complex work and act as a source of practice expertise for the team.
- Support, mentor and co-work with newly qualified and less experienced colleagues.
- Hold a caseload of children and families within the Family Help service, working across Child in Need and Child Protection.
- Complete high-quality assessments, plans and reports within statutory timescales.
- Work in partnership with families and multi-agency professionals to reduce risk and create lasting change.
- Attend and contribute to strategy meetings, child protection conferences and core groups.
- Ensure the voice of the child is central to all assessments and planning.
About You
- A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration.
- Post-qualifying experience within Children's Social Care, ideally in Family Help, CIN or CP.
- Sound knowledge of Working Together to Safeguard Children and statutory processes.
- Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
