Location: Unit 4b, Victoria Industrial Park, Victoria Road, Leeds LS14 2LA

Salary: £16.00 per hour plus extensive benefits

Working hours: 40 hours per week. Two shift patterns available:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
  • Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm

The Accuracy Checking Technician is responsible for acting as an accredited final checker for all dispensed items within our fast‑paced, deadline‑driven Fulfilment Centre. The role ensures that every prescription is checked to the highest professional standards before dispatch, maintaining full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality controls.

    What you’ll be doing?

    • Support the operations team with day-to-day activities
    • Comply with P2U dispensary operations procedure and meet internal targets for dispensing quality and accuracy
    • Adhere to all legal, ethical, professional and company requirements
    • Working within a high‑volume environment
    • Meeting set targets for individuals and team to meet business targets
    • Ensure appropriate quality controls are in place and communicate to pharmacy teams
    • Working with key teams across the business (customer service, purchasing, operations & pharmacists)
    • Participate in continuous professional development (CPD)
    • Ensuring that the workplace remains fun, relaxed and friendly
    • Ensuring all work areas are kept clean and tidy for the oncoming shift
    • To be responsible for key areas of the operation
    • Be a key figure in supporting the clinical and operational needs/standards required

    Who are we looking for?

    • GPhC‑registered technician with an Accuracy Checking Technician qualification (or Pharmacy Technician with ACT module).
    • Extensive pharmacy experience in a highly accurate, regulated environment (community or online).
    • High attention to detail and proven ability to work accurately under pressure and tight deadlines.
    • Strong communication skills with confidence in both written and verbal interactions.
    • Organised and able to prioritise workload effectively in a fast‑paced setting.
    • IT literate with confidence using systems and intermediate Excel skills.
    • Team‑focused mindset with the ability to work well independently and support colleagues across teams.
    • Committed to CPD, professional conduct, and always maintaining a patient‑first approach.

    Applicants must prove they have the right to live in the UK. All successful applicants will be required to undergo a DBS check.
