Location: Hybrid schedule – 2-3 days a week in the office at Thorpe Park, Leeds.

Working hours: Core hours 09:30 – 16:00; flexible around these.

Salary: DOE plus extensive benefits.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing environment.
  • Drive best practices in software development, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Oversee development of core systems across web and mobile platforms, including front‑end interfaces and integrations.
  • Champion team culture and environment, ensuring decisions prioritise both team well‑being and project success.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (design, product, QA) to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Ensure alignment with technology stack, including .NET Core for microservices and backend systems, React, Next.js, and TypeScript for front‑end interfaces, and integration with BigCommerce and StoryBlok CMS.
  • Promote continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and adoption of modern tools and practices.

Who we are looking for:

  • Extensive commercial experience building React/Next.JS/TypeScript components.
  • Experience with headless e‑Commerce platforms such as BigCommerce.
  • Leadership experience – either leading a small team or mentoring junior developers as a senior.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience as a senior developer or team leader in software development.
