What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing environment.
- Drive best practices in software development, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
- Oversee development of core systems across web and mobile platforms, including front‑end interfaces and integrations.
- Champion team culture and environment, ensuring decisions prioritise both team well‑being and project success.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (design, product, QA) to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Ensure alignment with technology stack, including .NET Core for microservices and backend systems, React, Next.js, and TypeScript for front‑end interfaces, and integration with BigCommerce and StoryBlok CMS.
- Promote continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and adoption of modern tools and practices.
Who we are looking for:
- Extensive commercial experience building React/Next.JS/TypeScript components.
- Experience with headless e‑Commerce platforms such as BigCommerce.
- Leadership experience – either leading a small team or mentoring junior developers as a senior.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience as a senior developer or team leader in software development.
