Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum DOE, plus up to a 10% discretionary annual bonus and extensive benefits

What you'll be doing?
- Placing orders with manufacturers and suppliers
- Proactively following up on purchase orders with suppliers/manufacturers
- Taking lead on investigating any stock‑related complaints and implementing clear, measurable action plans to prevent repeat issues and improve service to customers
- Driving improvement plans to improve availability, service and team routines while reducing stock holding
- Working with wholesalers and manufacturers to understand availability issues, restock dates and duration of supply issues
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to align supply plans with business needs

Who are we looking for?
- Extensive experience in a commercial buying or supply‑chain role, either in retail or the supplier base
- Experience in FMCG preferred
- Proven experience of working with complex data and systems to improve the end‑to‑end supply‑chain process across multiple systems
- Proven experience of analysing data to generate reports and provide insight to drive informed decision making
- Proven experience of planning and implementing supply optimisation projects
- Experience of working in a pressured environment, delivering against tight deadlines
- Ability to use Excel at an intermediate level (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, calculations, sort and filter etc.)
- Proven ability to work both as part of a larger team and individually
