This role can be based in any of our locations Leeds, London or Bardon. Hybrid 2/3 days a week at your relevant place of work. Monthly travel required to our other sites to support stakeholders. Travel expenses covered to your non-place of work location. Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours (8am-4.30pm, 8.30am-5pm or 9am-5.30pm) - may be a requirement to be flexible with these times ad hoc to support stakeholders.
You will be our Senior People & Talent Partner for M&A, leading all people activity from due diligence to integration. In addition you will lead reward and compensation across the Pharmacy2U Group, shaping a consistent and scalable total reward strategy. You'll work closely with senior leaders to drive engagement, build capability and support change, operating with high autonomy and aligning People initiatives to business priorities. This role offers wide organisational exposure, leading cross‐functional people and reward projects and collaborating with the Head of People, Head of Talent Acquisition and Development, the Chief People Officer and other People Partners. You may also support the development of People Partners as the organisation grows.
Responsibilities
- Act as the dedicated M&A People & Talent Partner, leading the people & talent aspects of acquisitions end‐to‐end, including due diligence, TUPE, consultation, integration planning and post acquisition support, ensuring a smooth and consistent people & talent experience.
- Lead and support reward activity across the business, including but not limited to pay reviews, bonus schemes, pension, health cash plans, life assurances, ensuring alignment with our reward framework and a fair, consistent and transparent approach.
- Ownership for ensuring that fair, consistent and transparent employee relations processes are applied, ensuring compliance with employment law and making it a great place to work.
- Lead and partner projects to develop and implement relevant policies and procedures, educating employees and managers on interpretation and application.
- Ad-hoc talent acquisition support during critical acquisition peaks.
- Support and advise your team and your stakeholders on complex ER cases using your expertise in this area.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through engagement initiatives and conflict resolution.
- Drive and implement our performance reviews for your areas and support with creating an ongoing and continuous feedback planning, and introduce progression frameworks across relevant business areas.
- Partner with management teams to identify learning interventions that support team development, collaborating with the Development & Wellbeing team to build and deliver relevant training solutions.
- Support the management team in identifying the right structure for their teams and work with the talent team, to recruit great talent relevant to the needs of the business/teams.
- Support the management team in shaping their People Plan, identifying areas of growth and hiring needs to support that.
- End to end recruitment for any roles within the businesses you are partnering with.
- Support salary benchmarking to better understand our bandings and annual pay review with the teams you partner with.
- Overall accountability for onboarding new managers into relevant business areas to ensure they are set up for success.
- Support the Head of People with managing budgets and other projects as required.
- Utilise people data and analytics to drive informed decision-making.
- Partner with relevant business areas supporting the full employee life-cycle where applicable which includes but is not limited to absence management, performance management, family friendly leave requests.
- Provide support for business inductions as needed, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
- Manage team members (if org structure requires).

Requirements
- Experience in managing ER for large teams and be comfortable owning end to end management including investigation, disciplinary, grievances and performance matters, including complex cases.
- An openness to communication and be able to be flexible, tactful and patient.
- To be someone who is proactive, who enjoys making credible decisions to deliver results.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities (written and oral); skilled in communicating with diverse settings, both 1:1 and in large groups.
- Positivity, enthusiasm, self-motivation, excellent organisation skills and commitment to the goals at hand.
- Have the ability to develop effective working relationships with team members at all levels of the business.
- Results focussed and constantly aims to deliver within agreed KPIs.
- An interest and eye for spotting opportunities to better processes and the initiative to implement changes.
- To be tech savvy with a passion for learning more in this area.
- Strong experience in a similar Senior People Partner or HR Manager role, preferably in a high growth, fast paced business environment.
- Demonstrated experience in M&A activity and reward.
- A CIPD qualification is great, but not essential for this role.
