This role is essential in supporting the People team, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of people-related processes. It plays a key part in fostering a positive colleague experience, managing critical administrative tasks, and driving the overall efficiency of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Owning core People processes, administration tasks & communications including payroll.
  • Systems management - Creating and maintaining the records held in our Human Resources Information System (HRIS); managing and updating all policies on our intranet (SharePoint), ensuring these are up to date, consistent & accurate.
  • Payroll - owning the relationship with our payroll provider and/or payroll department and helping to manage any payroll queries.
  • People Team Inbox - being the first point of contact for general people and policy related queries through our dedicated inbox within our internal timeframes.
  • Onboarding - Delivery of onboarding inductions, including all pre-onboarding tasks to ensure that all Right to Work and background checks are complete, offer letters and contracts are executed correctly and on time.
  • Ensure the local legal requirements are strictly adhered to, including performing Right to Work checks.
  • Coordination of offboarding team members, including booking exit interviews.
  • Supporting the Head of People & Senior People Partner through our regular people processes, for example, Performance & Salary Reviews for total company.
  • General HR reporting, as and when required for total company.
  • Organising ad-hoc events to keep our team members well informed and engaged.
  • And lots of other exciting projects for the company along the way!

Requirements

  • Able to build and train our team on processes and provide structure that is simple to use by creating templates.
  • Ability to juggle a range of tasks effectively with excellent stakeholder management skills - this role is people facing, first and foremost.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • IT literate and familiar with MS Office suite.
  • An interest and eye for spotting opportunities to create better processes and the initiative to implement change.
  • Energy, passion, a self-starter, and a sleeves-rolled-up mentality.
  • Previous payroll experience is highly desirable.
  • If you have your CIPD, great! However, this is not essential.
  • Previous experience in a HR administrative role, preferably in a high growth business or Operations environment.
  • Experience of working in a pressured environment, delivering against tight deadlines, and ensuring accuracy.
  • Experience of working within company and ethical rules and regulations.
