Salary: DOE, plus extensive benefits

Contract type: 6 month FTC, maternity cover

Employment type: Full time

Working hours: Core hours 09:30 to 16:00. Flexible around these.

Location: Hybrid: 2‑3 days a week in the office at Thorpe Park, Leeds.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all phases of the M&A lifecycle, from due diligence through post‑merger integration
  • Define integration strategies, success metrics, and alignment to the Target Operating Model
  • Identify synergies, risks, and operational challenges, and develop mitigation strategies
  • Lead cross‑functional teams and ensure clear decision‑making pathways
  • Develop and oversee integration timelines, milestones, and governance structures
  • Produce board‑ready reports, dashboards, and updates for Steering Groups
  • Drive change management and communication strategies to support integration
  • Ensure knowledge transfer, documentation, and operational readiness for day 1 and beyond
  • Provide hands‑on delivery support where required to unblock progress

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading M&A integrations or major transformation programmes
  • Strong project and portfolio management capability
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience in regulated or healthcare environments desirable
  • Strategic thinking with a strong delivery focus
  • Ability to challenge constructively and guide teams effectively
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, including at ELT/SLT level
  • Familiarity with OKRs, governance frameworks, and structured delivery methodologies
