Working hours: We work on a core hours principle. Our core hours are 09:30 - 16:00; you can work around these to suit you! Our tech teams keep us running 24/7 to make sure all our patients get world class service. To support that, this role may include participation in an out‑of‑hours rota as required by the business. We operate fair scheduling process as well as additional compensation for all on‑call periods.

Location: We operate a hybrid schedule, meaning 2‑3 days a week in the office based at Thorpe Park, Leeds.

Role summary: The Change Lead plays a critical role in driving safe, seamless delivery into production, ensuring every change is released with clarity, control, and confidence. Working closely with Service Operations and Development teams, the role owns the end‑to‑end change lifecycle, bringing structure, visibility, and pace to how changes are planned, managed, and delivered. With a strong focus on continuous improvement, the role champions best practice across change management and release processes, refining the route to live, reducing risk, and enabling teams to deliver high‑quality change efficiently across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Service Operations Manager and Development leads to establish and maintain an effective Change Advisory Board (CAB) process aligned to business needs
  • Continuously identify and drive improvements across change processes and broader workflows that impact delivery
  • Own and manage CAB processes, working across departments to ensure consistent understanding, adoption, and adherence
  • Support the IT function through training, coaching, and mentoring in change management best practices
  • Oversee the full change lifecycle, ensuring clear communication, visibility, and alignment across the business
  • Collaborate with the Service Transition team to ensure all new projects are onboarded in line with change and release processes
  • Adhere to all legal, ethical, professional, and organisational standards
  • Work cross‑functionally with key teams including customer service, purchasing, operations, and pharmacists
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and supportive working environment

Qualifications:

  • Practical experience in IT change management
  • Experience running and governing Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes
  • Experience designing or improving change and release frameworks
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Jira Service Management
  • Understanding of service transition processes
  • Experience in change scheduling and release coordination
  • Experience operating in high‑risk or live production environments
  • Understanding of ITIL‑based service management principles
  • Awareness of risk management and business continuity practices
  • Ability to produce reporting and visibility using tools such as Jira and eazyBI
