As a member of our pharmacy team, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and patient care, helping us deliver an exceptional experience at every stage of the journey. We’re currently looking for dedicated Pharmacy Dispensers to join our growing team at Pharmacierge.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our Pharmacists and Pharmacy Support Staff to support patients and uphold our commitment to safety, accuracy, and outstanding service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Dispensing medications accurately against prescriptions, following pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and UK pharmacy regulations.
- Providing support and guidance to patients and prescribers, responding to clinical and non-clinical queries within your scope of practice.
- Collaborating with the wider Pharmacierge teams to ensure smooth workflow and contribute to continuous service improvement.
- Maintaining accurate records and assisting with stock control, including ordering, replenishment, and expiry checks.
- Supporting safety and quality assurance initiatives, including identifying and reporting any discrepancies or concerns related to medication safety.
When reviewing your CV and application, we’ll be looking for evidence of the following:
Essential- NVQ Level 2 Dispensing Qualification (or GPhC recognised equivalent)
- A strong focus on accuracy and safety in all aspects of dispensing and record-keeping.
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
- A work history that demonstrates collaboration, reliability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear dedication to patient safety, satisfaction, and high standards of service.
- At least 2 years’ experience working in a UK pharmacy in a Dispensary focused role

At Pharmacierge, we use a multi-stage recruitment process for the Dispenser role to ensure the best possible fit for both you and our team:
- Stage 1 – Application Review - We’ll review your application (usually within 1-2 working days) to ensure it meets the essential criteria for the role.
- Stage 2 – Telephone Interview - If shortlisted, you’ll be invited to self-schedule a short telephone interview with our Recruitment Coordinator or a senior staff member.
- Stage 3 – Video Interview - Successful applicants will then have a remote interview via Microsoft Teams with a senior member of the Pharmacy Team.
- Stage 4 – On-site Visit - If progressing, you’ll be invited to visit our pharmacy for a tour, meet the team, and get a feel for the working environment.
- Stage 5 – Final Review - A member of our Senior Leadership Team will review your application and interview feedback. If all criteria are met, we’ll be in touch with a job offer.
