As an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician in our Evening Team, you will contribute directly to maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and patient care, ensuring a consistent and reliable service throughout the patient journey. You will support the smooth and effective operation of the pharmacy, taking ownership of your role within the wider team.

Work Arrangements: We are currently recruiting for a full‑time Evening ACT. Please note that remote work is not available at this time. Full‑time roles involve working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (no Weekends) from 13.00 to 22.00.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense and check medications prepared by others accurately against prescriptions, following pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and UK pharmacy regulations.
- Provide support and guidance to patients and prescribers, responding to clinical and non‑clinical queries within your scope of practice.
- Apply the skills and knowledge gained through your NVQ3 Pharmacy Technician training to actively support the wider Pharmacierge team. This includes contributing to the training and development of dispensary and support staff, while helping to uphold the high standards of care and service that Pharmacierge is known for.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with stock control, including ordering, replenishment, and expiry checks.
- Support safety and quality assurance initiatives, including identifying and reporting any discrepancies or concerns related to medication safety.
To be considered for the Pharmacy Technician role at Pharmacierge, you MUST have the following qualifications and experience:
- Hold an NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Qualification (or equivalent as recognised by the General Pharmaceutical Council).
- Have successfully completed their Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician training.
- Be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Candidates who have completed their training and are awaiting GPhC registration will also be considered.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Exhibit excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Possess outstanding communication skills and a patient‑centric approach to service delivery.
