Pharmacy Assistant Day Lewis Pharmacy - Parson Drove Day Lewis Pharmacy in Parson Drove is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. This role offers a varied working environment, combining both retail and dispensary duties , making it ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction while also supporting patient care behind the scenes.
Hours & Pay
24 hours per week 9:30am to 3:30pm Monday , Wednesday, Thursday and Friday £13.25 per hour
Main Responsibilities
Retail Responsibilities
- Providing excellent customer service and healthcare advice where appropriate
- Assisting customers with over-the-counter products and healthcare needs
- Operating the till and handling transactions accurately
- Maintaining stock levels and merchandising displays
- Supporting health promotion campaigns and pharmacy services
Dispensary Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions
- Managing prescription collections and deliveries
- Ordering, receiving, and checking stock
- Maintaining accurate records and pharmacy paperwork
- Supporting pharmacists and the dispensary team in delivering safe and efficient patient care
About You
- Friendly and approachable with a genuine passion for helping people
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Previous pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
- An NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services qualification would be an advantage but is not required
