The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 ÂŁ per year.

The Medical Manager will lead UK medical affairs activities for our clients’ Oncology portfolio. This will include responsibility for both marketed and pipeline treatments, and a major focus on a new drug launch in the Rare Oncology space. This is a key role in the Oncology team and the hiring manager is seeking candidates with prior Medical Advisor experience and a qualified ABPI Final Signatory.

Key responsibilities:

  • Input into and deliver the medical plan and tactics
  • Support development of medical strategy and integrated brand plan
  • Provide medical input into and support with ongoing Market Access activities
  • Integral part of the cross functional brand team
  • Support Investigator-Sponsored Studies and identify opportunities to generate real-world evidence data
  • Act as an internal disease area expert
  • Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs
  • Represent the business as a key clinical expert in communication with KOLs
  • Develop materials for and deliver educational sessions
  • Review and approve materials as a Final Medical Signatory in line with the ABPI Code of Practice

Candidate Requirements:

  • Medical or Pharmacy degree with appropriate UK registration
  • UK Medical Advisor experience and understanding of the role
  • Final Signatory status
  • Preference for Oncology although other specialised therapy area backgrounds will be considered
  • Prior product launch experience is desirable
  • Effective in communicating and stakeholder management
  • Driving license
